Biography

Anjith Augustine is an Assistant professor at KMEA College of Architecture, Aluva and also the founding architect of City Futures Design Collaborative, Aluva. His background includes experience in Architecture, Urban design and Architectural research. Before joining KMEA COA, he worked at Kochi, Chennai and Delhi as an Architect and a product designer. He has also worked as visiting faculty at Mookambika college of Architecture, Ernakulam. His practice is focused along urban design and residential projects across Kerala. Some of the notable projects are with Casadel Developers, Paul Antony Developers, CMRL group etc. His practice is focused on architecture and public space designing that focuses on context, climate and the social fabric of the state of Kerala.

Teaching

Anjith Augustine started his teaching career at Mookambika College of Architecture at Ernakulam, as a visiting faculty. He joined KMEA College of Architecture in 2014 and has been part of the Urban Design program since then. The urban design studio has been focusing on urban studies around Ernakulam city for the past five years under his mentorship. He has also been part of electives like Modular construction & automation techniques.
